S2B Program

Update on the Students 2 Business program, launched at Innovation Day November 2006.

Following on from our launch, there will be the opportunity to hear the experiences of business and academia that have taken part in Microsoft’s initial S2B pilot program.

About S2B:

The S2B program enables students to put into practice what they have learned during their university studies, and gain real work experience to help kick-start their IT careers. At the same time, it offers a channel to inspire local businesses to communicate the competencies required to innovate and operate a People Ready business.

So far, the initiative has engaged 500 Small and Medium sized Enterprises and has offered more than 2,500 students an opportunity to work on an innovative IT related project.
